2015 WWE Tough Enough winner Sara Lee has been increasing her size as she continues to train in the Performance Center. The Michigan-born developmental talent posted several pictures to her Instagram and Twitter showing off her increased muscle mass, accompanied by the caption ‘#gains’.
It’s obvious that Lee has been making full use of the Performance Center’s state-of-the-art fitness facilities. Despite having not yet made her NXT debut, she looks to be getting herself into fighting shape – and a call-up could well be on the horizon.
Lee has been travelling with several NXT workers, and recently posted a picture from a Citrus Springs meet-and-greet alongside former NXT Tag Team Champions Aiden English and Simon Gotch – collectively known as The Vaudevillains.
The news is encouraging for the direction of women’s wrestling as a whole. With talent focusing on looking like fighters rather than supermodels, from the main roster down to developmental recruits, the days of ‘Bra & Panties’ matches look long gone.
Meanwhile, fellow Tough Enough winner Josh Bredl was present at last week’s NXT tapings in Orlando, conducting an in-ring interview. During the segment, he revealed his new ring name – Bronson Mathews – although both he and Lee are yet to make their in-ring debuts.
