King Barrett Returns To WWE Action On This Week’s SmackDown

King Barrett back to motion at this week’s SmackDown taping after a baffling absence from the ring. It turns out that the King of the Ring has been rehabbing his neck after struggling “a bit of bit of nerve injury, however nothing important.” fanatics were rightly concerned about five-time Intercontinental Champion’s absence because WWE made without doubt no reference to it either on commentary or online. They could have kept us up-to-the-minute, at the least. One of life’s great mysteries is finally solved… Barrett was once lacking from Sunday’s TLC pay per view event the place he failed to take part in any of the League of Nation’s fits, at the same time he was once also nowhere to be noticeable when Rusev and Alberto Del Rio attacked Roman Reigns within the most important occasion. The King of the Ring was once also lacking on Monday’s raw as he didn’t accompany RuRu and Del Rio of their tag group suit, even as he once once more didn't exhibit up for the interf...

WWE Armageddon PPVs – From Worst To Best

There was another December PPV before TLC, remember…but were they actually any good? So TLC 2015 is in the bag and it looks like the general consensus is that it was the same as it is every year. I.e. the booking was sometimes baffling and it was clearly a placeholder show before next month’s Royal Rumble, but that there was enough weapons-based carnage to make up for the questionable creative. TLC has been a WWE institution since 2009, when the company felt that, gee, wouldn’t it be great to take an impactful stipulation bout, dilute it and string it out over the length of an entire PPV? (see also: Hell in a Cell). Before TLC, however, there was Armageddon, which was WWE’s December PPV from 1999 onwards (aside from in 2001 when it was renamed Vengeance, because WWE felt ‘Armageddon’ was too harsh following 9/11 and God bless America etc.). Far from being predictable or, heaven forbid, consistent, the quality of Armageddon varied wildly from year to year. In its history it w...

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: See What WWE’s Sheamus looks Like As Rocksteady

Fine Becky Lynch goggles. The primary trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 (also known by way of its subtitle Out Of The Shadows, which makes it sound like an emo rock album) has arrived, bringing the first real look at WWE’s Sheamus as mutant rhino (and all round legendary character) Rocksteady. For reference, here’s what he looks like before he’s subjected to the ooze… Simply your regular every day road punk. With out his iconic mohawk, oddly. His full transformation into the rhino most likely comes later within the movie after he and Bebop have started working for the new Shredder. The trailer is commonly a guidelines for Michael Bay cliches (even though he’s not directing, his producer credit apparently can provide him enormous creative manipulate). So in there we have a number of identifiable quirks: The slanty camera angles. Considering list off sideways is particularly cool. Hardcore tremendous slo-mo action. Loud booming bass noises. Megan Fox’s midrif and b...

WWE Tough Enough Winner Sara Lee Is Getting Bigger

2015 WWE Tough Enough winner Sara Lee has been increasing her size as she continues to train in the Performance Center. The Michigan-born developmental talent posted several pictures to her Instagram and Twitter showing off her increased muscle mass, accompanied by the caption ‘#gains’. It’s obvious that Lee has been making full use of the Performance Center’s state-of-the-art fitness facilities. Despite having not yet made her NXT debut, she looks to be getting herself into fighting shape – and a call-up could well be on the horizon. Lee has been travelling with several NXT workers, and recently posted a picture from a Citrus Springs meet-and-greet alongside former NXT Tag Team Champions Aiden English and Simon Gotch – collectively known as The Vaudevillains. The news is encouraging for the direction of women’s wrestling as a whole. With talent focusing on looking like fighters rather than supermodels, from the main roster down to developmental recruits, th...
